Sparking emotions
Mainly self-taught, Vivian draws inspiration from connecting and communicating. Her work is dominated by emotions, set in an environment of color and symbols. Influenced by expressionism and post-impressionism; the artist experiments constantly.
Vivian was born in NYC, and has lived in Athens and the US. Initially, art functioned as a decompressing mechanism so, instead of studying fine arts, she attended Boston University, acquiring a BSc. in Communications and PR. Her professions took her to the fields of advertising, medicine, sports and education.
She started painting again, but this time her art journey was expressed by an intense interaction. From an internal process it transformed into a means of connection. Creativity takes a primary role in Vivian's life.
